Customer Service Lead/Administrative Assistant

 

Driftless Gardens is accepting applications for a part-time (up to 16 hr/week) customer service lead/administrative assistant.  This position is eligible for a flexible hybrid remote/in person schedule.

Job Duties/Description:

​

Driftless Gardens is seeking candidates to manage all aspects of customer service as well as assist with project management. Joining our growing landscape business in this role will mean taking responsibility to complete the following tasks correctly and efficiently:

​

-Manage all phone and email communications related to:

  • New customer inquiries

  • Existing customer requests

  • Recurring customer schedule notification

-Use customer management software and Quickbooks Online to:

  • Track new and existing customers

  • Schedule appointments

  • Record and manage customer, crew, and owner communications

  • Work with vendors to order materials for upcoming projects

-Depending on a candidate's qualifications additional tasks may be added including but not limited to: general accounting and crew scheduling

 

Requirements:

​​

-Experience in a customer service setting

-Experience with a range of computer software

-Clear and respectful verbal and written communication style

-Attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills

-Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines

-Must be reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team

-Commitment to honesty, integrity and care for the environment

-Desire to work hard and quickly learn new knowledge and skills

Experience with cloud-based management or accounting software is preferred. 

​
